We believe that we can save life

Founded in 2011, Kaumudalaya is a charitable organization based in Joysagar, Dist. Sivasagar, Assam, committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need. At its core, Kaumudalaya focuses on the treatment and rehabilitation of polio-affected individuals, offering support without discrimination based on religion, caste, gender, or region.

We are commtted to create a society where every individual, regardless of physical challenges, can live with dignity and independence. Currently, we are proudly running a One Day Boarding School Cum Vocational Training Centre and a Children’s Home in Joysagar. These initiatives aim to empower disabled persons and provide them with the skills they need to lead self-sufficient lives.

We focus on physical, economic, and social rehabilitation, policy impact, and care for orphans while working alongside families, communities, and the government to drive lasting change.
